The Role

They are seeking an organised and compassionate Pharmacy Dispenser to join their dynamic Gloucester team. In this role, you will ensure the accurate preparation and supply of medications while providing excellent customer service and supporting our pharmacy team in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Select, label, and dispense medications following SOPs and legal guidelines
  • Assist in the secure and compliant handling of controlled drugs
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient medication records (PMR)
  • Prepare Monitored Dosage Systems (MDS) for patients with complex needs
  • Offer basic advice on medication and general health, referring as needed
  • Support inventory control – ordering, storing, rotating, and disposing of medicines safely
  • Ensure hygiene and infection prevention standards are upheld
  • Participate in incident reporting and continuous service improvement
  • Engage in ongoing training and professional development
