Integral UK LTD are recruiting a Cleaning Operative to work at one of our sites in Isle of Grain, Rochester, Kent, ME3 0AR. You shall work 5am-1pm each day, Monday to Friday. The hourly rate is £14.35 per hour.

Duties include:

  • Ensuring Time gate is used correctly on each shift by all team members.
  • Managing the cleaning team: overseeing the staff including training & supervising.
  • Ensuring that all work is done in accordance with Health & Safety procedures, and that corporate standards are met.
  • Ensuring the equipment and materials are adequate and in good repair to carry out the cleaning duties.
  • Ensuring the amount of cleaning chemicals on site is adequate and effective to carry out the cleaning duties.
  • Ensuring COSHH is applied effectively.
  • Completing weekly pay sheets, 4 weekly staff rotas & ensuring all daily shifts are covered & completed on time.
  • Delivering training to the site team, keeping clear records of training for new staff and existing staff where there is a requirement for re-training.
  • Highlighting any training needs for new or existing staff to line manager.
  • Leading the cleaning team to create a supportive work environment.
  • Ensuring any accidents/incidents are reported through the correct channels immediately.

General Duties:

  • Full understanding of specification.
  • Company image is maintained through attention to standard of dress, equipment, sensible footwear, use of PPE, machinery and conduct of all staff on customers' premises.
  • Communication and adherence to cleaning programme.
  • Experience preferred but not essential as training will be given.
