A vibrant and academically ambitious secondary school in Bristol is seeking an outstanding classroom teacher to take on the role of Lead Practitioner of Science. This is a key leadership position aimed at developing teaching and learning across the Science department, with whole-school influence.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Modelling and promoting excellent teaching in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics

• Supporting the development of schemes of work, resources, and assessments

• Leading internal CPD and coaching colleagues within and beyond the department

• Contributing to curriculum innovation and enrichment opportunities

• Taking on a pastoral leadership role such as KS3 Science Coordinator or Wellbeing Lead
