MFL Teacher - Secondary School

Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cover the national curriculum standards for MFL.  Language Skills Development: Help students develop their proficiency in the target language through various activities and techniques, including listening comprehension, speaking practice, reading comprehension, and writing exercises.  Cultural Awareness: Incorporate cultural elements into lessons to broaden students\’ understanding of the target language\’s culture and the world.  Assessment and Feedback: Regularly assess student progress, provide feedback, and prepare students for exams.  Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and effective learning environment.  Collaboration: Work with other teachers within the MFL department to share resources and best practices.  Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with current language teaching methodologies and resources.  Parent Communication: Communicate with parents regarding student progress and concerns.  Extracurricular Activities: May participate in extracurricular activities such as language clubs or study trips.  Beyond the Classroom: Inspiration and Motivation: Inspire students to learn and appreciate languages, fostering a love for language learning and cultural understanding.  Promoting International Awareness: Help students develop an understanding of different cultures and perspectives, fostering global citizenship.  Preparing for Future Opportunities: Help students develop skills that will be valuable in their future careers and personal lives, such as communication and cultural understanding
