Contracts Manager/ Project Manager

The role & about the client:

On behalf of our client, ITS Construction Professionals South are recruiting for a Contracts Manager/ Project Manager for a small works construction company based in Portsmouth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Management of site team and ensure effective management
• Health and safety plans
• Motivating and inspiring the team
• To be familiar with background of working on the tools and have trades experience.
• To be commercially aware as will be involved with pricing and confirming invoices.
• Liaising on all levels to ensure effective communication is always maintained.
• Following project through to final accounts
• Experience at managing multiple contracts and assist with any issues and general duties
• Creating and management of program
• Client meetings and associated issues.

The ideal candidate will have/be:

• Proven experience as Contracts Manager/ Project Manager
• Experience of a trades background
• To be commercially aware
• Experience working with extensions and moderations.
• DBS which can be completed in house
• Experience working with a small works company
• Relevant tickets, SMSTS, DBS, First Aid essential and CSCS preferred.
