We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an Experimental Scientist to join their prestigious R&D team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, working on innovative technologies in chemical manufacturing.
Role Overview:
- Prepare, characterise, and test heterogeneous catalysts
- Conduct reaction testing in lab-scale fixed-bed reactors
- Perform analytical testing using GC, HPLC, XRF, Nā porosimetry
- Adhere to and promote laboratory safety standards
- Support wider research on organic and inorganic chemistry
Candidate Requirements:
- Level 5 HND or BSc in Chemistry (preferred)
- Experience in the chemical industry is desirable.
- Experience with analytical lab equipment
- Strong attention to safety and data quality
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
