Our rural Ledbury based client is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join them on a full time and permanent basis. You will be working with a small team to ensure efficient and compliant warehouse operations within a food & beverage environment.

What you can expect:

  • Pay rate: £12.21+ per hour
  • Working hours: 40 hours per week, 7.30am – 4pm Monday to Friday
  • Join a growing company, who invest in their staff and provide opportunities to learn and develop
  • 20 days holiday including bank holidays

What you will be doing:

  • Unloading and loading products and moving goods and materials around the site
  • Managing and checking stock requirements
  • Picking and packaging, checking condition of products both incoming and outgoing
  • Operation of a counterbalance forklift
  • Maintaining a clean and organised warehouse environment to meet industry health and safety standards

What we are looking for:

  • Prior experience within a warehouse or dispatch facility/ stock rotation, labelling etc
  • Experience operating a Forklift /Current Counterbalance license an advantage
  • Good basic computer skills/ prior warehouse systems experience
  • Physical ability to safely perform manual handling tasks
  • A clear understanding and appreciation of health and safety procedure
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Own transport is essential due to rural location
