Are you a HGV Class 2 or 7.5T Driver looking for a new challenge? Working Monday to Friday, 1.30pm-10pm. The role will involve:
- Safely operate a 7.5T vehicle to transport goods and deliver to customer homes.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries.
- Load and unload cargo, some assembly work will be required but training will be provided.
- Communicate with customers in a professional and friendly manner.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage and fuel consumptions.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a 7.5T Driver or similar role is preferred.
- The ability to work under own initiative and be flexible in your approach.
- Excellent communication skills and good customer service.
- Ensure all correct PPE is in good order and used at all times.
- 7.5T or Class 2 licence for more than 1 year due to insurance purposes.
- Valid CPC & Digi Tacho.
- Ability to navigate using GPS or maps.
- Physical fitness for heavy lifting and loading/unloading cargo.
