Our client are a well respected Builders Merchant providing a mixture of building supplies to a range of trade and retail customers across Hertfordshire. An exciting opportunity has arisen in their branch for an Internal Sales Executive. This person will take an active part in driving the sales for the branch over the telephone, via emails, and face to face when required.
Within your role as a telesales executive you will be required to promote the companies products both proactively as well as reactively. You will look for all opportunities to garner new business, whilst maintaining excellent customer service to retain customers and keep them happy with the levels of service provided. You will need to cross-basket sell, upsell, and ensure you maintain a good margin to maximise the potential sale.
Due to the busy nature of the industry, previous experience selling some form of construction products to trade customers is essential for this position. This may have been within a Builders Merchant, Timber Merchant, Drainage Merchant, Roofing Merchant, Plumbing Merchant, or even within a big box Home Improvements Store.
