FirePro UK is a dynamic commercial fire product specialist distribution business. Due to business expansion, they are seeking an administration-based 'person Friday' to learn and take care of a varied range of business support tasks in support of a small field-based team and the Managing Director. They are recruiting a highly driven, high-calibre Business Administration Manager to further drive and support our business.
With grounded experience in IT systems, office practice and business administration, the successful candidate will serve to be the backbone of the business organisation and support. The individual will possess excellent organisational and telephone skills and be able to clearly communicate at all levels. The post will be pressurised, and include supporting meetings, presentations, exhibitions, seminars and many other activities surrounding the business success. This is a full-time role, permanently office-based, there is no working from home, and is subject to a 6-month trial period, during which time, either party may give the other immediate notice, without obligation for further pay or rights of employment.
The post duties will include (but not limited to) the following:
- Learn and effectively use the company systems such as Outlook, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Google Drive, Diary, CRM (Customer Relationship Management), XERO, Quote Systems, etc. Maintain the company Outlook diary.
- Post social media, website updates / progress reports.
- Prioritise actions as required and work in an organised fashion.
- Join team meetings and report progress / engage with the team.
- Maintain CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system with accurate data logging of all calls, appointments, and opportunities.
- Report progress daily at the end of the day to the General Manager.
- Manage, collate, and respond to leads, referrals, and telephone enquiries where required. Support the team (currently 4 people) in lead generation, sales, and development initiatives.
- Carry out any other duties commensurate with the post.
They expect the individual to rapidly grow and develop with the business to meet future opportunities and generate more success.
The starting salary is circa £22k rising to £24k at the completion of the trial period. Following completion the individual will qualify for the business performance bonus in FY25/26.
The post is full time office based in co-located offices in Bromley, South-East London. The role will be 5 days per week (Monday-Friday) at this location starting (not arriving) at 08.30am - 4.30pm with an hour for lunch.
