We are currently recruiting Support Workers to join vibrant and inclusive Day Care Centres supporting adults with learning disabilities. This is your chance to be part of a service that’s all about dignity, joy, and personal growth.
What You’ll Do- Provide high-quality care and meaningful support to adults with learning disabilities
- Assist with daily routines, personal care, and emotional wellbeing
- Promote independence and encourage participation in engaging activities such as swimming, bowling, arts & crafts, and community outings
- Foster a safe, respectful, and enriching environment
- Support with mobility, including wheelchair assistance and risk assessments
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
- Enhanced DBS certificate (Adults & Children – ideally on the update service)
- 12+ months UK experience in a similar care setting
- Confidence with personal care, emotional support, and mobility assistance
- Up-to-date mandatory training (Safeguarding, Moving & Handling, First Aid, Health & Safety, etc.)
