Support Workers – Day Care Centres (Adults with Learning Disabilities)

Location: East London

Hours: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday

We are currently recruiting Support Workers to join vibrant and inclusive Day Care Centres supporting adults with learning disabilities. This is your chance to be part of a service that’s all about dignity, joy, and personal growth.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide high-quality care and meaningful support to adults with learning disabilities
  • Assist with daily routines, personal care, and emotional wellbeing
  • Promote independence and encourage participation in engaging activities such as swimming, bowling, arts & crafts, and community outings
  • Foster a safe, respectful, and enriching environment
  • Support with mobility, including wheelchair assistance and risk assessments
What You’ll Need
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Enhanced DBS certificate (Adults & Children – ideally on the update service)
  • 12+ months UK experience in a similar care setting
  • Confidence with personal care, emotional support, and mobility assistance
  • Up-to-date mandatory training (Safeguarding, Moving & Handling, First Aid, Health & Safety, etc.)
