Glendale has recently extended their long term agreement with schools, academies and colleges across Surrey and now have long term employment opportunities for experienced and trainee staff to join a UK privately owned market leading green services provider.
Candidates will be required to work 40 hours a week. Overtime is available throughout the year to meet client requirements. Our depot is based in Guildford. Most importantly, you will be joining a company that can offer valuable career prospects and believes in investing in its people.
The Opportunity
- Duties include grass cutting, line marking, hedge trimming, clearing leaves, shrub bed maintenance and litter as required.
- The successful applicant may be required to drive/tow a trailer, and following suitable training, you may be required to operate a tractor or larger mowing equipment; therefore, a UK driving licence is required for this post.
- Previous experience and relevant tickets are desirable but full training and career development will be provided.
- Candidates will also use a range of other tools and some machinery maintenance.
- DBS will need to be obtained due to the nature of the contract.
The Person
- Applicants should be enthusiastic, hard working individuals with a keen eye for detail.
- The post holders may be required to operate ride-on mowers and drive company vehicles/tow trailers; therefore, a full clean UK driving licence is desired for all posts.
