As an Engineer in our Capital Delivery team, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our infrastructure projects are designed and delivered to the highest standards. You’ll be part of the intelligent client team, working with top-tier contractors and consultants to bring essential projects to life.

What you’ll be doing as a Project Engineer:

  • Coordinate the development of Project Briefs from the Needs defined by Asset Management.
  • Understand project risks and coordinate mitigation activities.
  • Prepare and support technical reviews through the Definition, De-Risking, and Detail Design phases of projects.
  • Provide Technical assurance during the delivery, commissioning, and handover of Assets.
  • Carry out Technical Assurance checks and audits of Contractor activities and outputs through the Detail Design and Construction phases of projects.

This is a hybrid role, with a base location of Hampton Coal Wharf. You will be expected to be in the office and on-site 2-3 days a week on a 36-hour week. Ideally, we would like the successful candidate to drive, but please apply if this is not the case, as your application will still be considered.

What you should bring to the role of Project Engineer:

  • Engineering HNC or HND / Degree with an operational or delivery background.
  • Skills in ICA, Mechanical or Civil engineering.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Understanding of Health and Safety in the Construction Industry.
  • Fully proficient at using the appropriate Company IT systems and Office software.

Annual Leave: 26 days holiday per year, increasing to 30 with the length of service (plus bank holidays).
