We are looking for an experienced Buyer to handle the purchasing of materials and services for brickwork projects. You will ensure the right materials are bought at the right time and price, helping our sites run smoothly and within budget.

Main Duties:

  • Order bricks, mortar, tools, and other materials for brickwork jobs.
  • Find reliable suppliers and negotiate the best prices and terms.
  • Work closely with site teams to plan what’s needed and when.
  • Keep track of orders and deliveries to make sure materials arrive on time.
  • Look for ways to save money without reducing quality.
  • Deal with any problems with suppliers or deliveries quickly.
  • Keep records of purchases and prices for reporting and budgeting.
  • Make sure all buying follows company policies and legal rules.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience buying materials for construction projects, ideally in brickwork.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of brickwork materials and tools.
  • Strong organisation and time management.
  • Comfortable using spreadsheets and procurement software.
  • Able to work well with others and under pressure.
  • Full driving licence (if travel is needed).
