Electrical QA/QC Lead – Must Have Data Centre Experience – London Our client, a leading and expanding M&E subcontractor, is delivering mission-critical infrastructure across the UK and Europe, with a strong reputation for excellence in commercial, pharmaceutical, and data centre sectors. As part of a flagship data centre project in London, we are now seeking a highly experienced Electrical QA/QC Lead to join our site delivery team. Role Responsibilities: * Lead the electrical QA/QC function across the data centre project, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and statutory regulations. * Review and approve electrical design documentation, method statements, materials, and installation practices. * Develop and implement comprehensive project-specific QA/QC plans, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and quality flowcharts. * Conduct in-depth inspections and audits of ongoing electrical works including containment, LV systems, UPS, generators, and life safety systems. * Collaborate closely with subcontractors and internal teams, managing quality KPIs and NCRs, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions. * Support commissioning activities and ensure systems are tested and verified per contractual requirements. * Maintain detailed records of QA documentation, certification, and compliance across all project stages. * Deliver QA training and lead regular quality meetings with project stakeholders and trade partners. Candidate Profile: * Background in electrical engineering or construction quality management with a minimum of 5 years in a QA/QC leadership role. * Proven track record of delivering QA/QC on complex data centre projects across Europe or the UK. * Strong knowledge of electrical standards, quality frameworks, and commissioning protocols in a mission-critical environment. * Excellent communication and reporting skills, able to lead by example and drive a culture of quality across teams. * Comfortable working under pressure, solving problems proactively, and ensuring work is right first time.
