Yourconstruction are delighted to be recruiting for a long standing client who are looking for a skilled engineer in the Northwest area of the UK. My client provides bespoke design, installation, 24/7 maintenance and repair solutions for specialist chiller and refrigeration systems, air conditioning and process systems.

We are looking for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer in the Northwest. This Engineer is required to carry out mainly service and maintenance to commercial refrigeration and air conditioning equipment to various sites in the North West.

Some clients are: Warburtons, Hovis, Allied Bakeries.

You will carry out Service, Repair and Maintenance on a variety of Commercial Refrigeration and Air Conditioning delivering a high standard of service within the Commercial sector.

Routine tasks:

  • Cover in and around the North East maintaining and servicing Commercial Refrigeration and Air Conditioning equipment.
  • Servicing and carrying out planned maintenance to refrigeration & AC systems.
  • Provide an exceptional standard of customer service to all clients when on site.
  • Ensure all Refrigeration & AC equipment is functional and safe to use.
  • Ensure compliance with the relevant Health & Safety requirements whilst adhering to best working practices.

Essential Experience:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in Refrigeration / AC service fault finding and repair work.
  • Experienced working on commercial equipment.
  • Either an FGAS or Level 2 AC/Refrigeration certification.

Requirements:

  • The successful candidate should be enthusiastic, well presented, self-motivated with excellent communication skills.
  • Must have F Gas and must have experience of refrigeration, walk in refrigerated units, freezers, and compressors.
  • Must have full clean driving license.
  • A company vehicle and a mobile phone will be provided.
  • This is a permanent role.
  • Salary will be based on applicants' experience and qualifications.
