Arise Recruit is working with a dynamic and forward thinking architectural practice in Cambridge, renowned for its innovative designs and diverse project portfolio. We are supporting them in their search for Technical Architects, however they would also be interested in meeting Part II Architectural Assistants and Architectural Technicians to join their established team in their Cambridge office. The teams here work in conjunction with two regional offices throughout the UK. The successful Architects, Architectural Assistants and Architectural Technicians will be offered a competitive salary of up to 50k, based on experience. This role provides the chance to work on an array of exciting projects - The practice carries out work across a range of sectors including; commercial, private and volume residential, new build schools, sport and community-based projects.
The Architect role here enables employees to lead their projects, and provides a varied workload, including:
- Support the design and development of projects across all stages.
- Create detailed architectural drawings and specifications using REVIT.
- Manage construction stages, with good knowledge of design specifications and building regulations.
- Comfortable in dialogue with clients, consultants and contractors to deliver high-standard projects.
- Comfortable working on more than one project at once.
Skills and Qualifications
- Architects and Architectural Technicians - RIBA / ARB or CIAT Membership
- Proven Stage 4 technical detailing of projects with a strong understanding of on-site processes.
- In-depth knowledge of UK building regulations and standards.
- Proficiency in REVIT
- Good oral and written communication skills - Capable of liaising effectively with clients, consultants and contractors.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required.
