Service Engineer

In this role of Service Engineer, you will be carrying out fault finding and diagnosis to a range of diesel generator sets. You will be resolving electrical and mechanical engine problems as well as replacing electrical and mechanical components. As a Service Engineer you will also carry out generator servicing. What you’ll be doing: * Carry out planned service and maintenance work on customer generators * Carry out remedial repairs & load bank testing * Carry out panel upgrades * Fault find and carry out breakdown repairs to customers equipment * Carry out site surveys requests as required * Carry out duties on our company on call rota system * Work overtime and away from home as required. * Complete fully detailed reports on the REA * Complete and supply fully detailed timesheets in the required timeline. * Maintain appropriate and accurate stock van levels * Comply with the Company Health & Safety Policy, including carrying out general housekeeping to ensure work areas are tidy.
