NQ Solicitor or Litigation Executive – EL/PL Personal Injury

Looking to advance your legal career in a top-tier firm? At Simpson Millar, we’re recruiting a Litigation Executive to manage a litigated caseload of Employer’s Liability (EL) and Public Liability (PL) personal injury claims, plus some CICA files, from initial denial through to settlement or trial. You’ll join a progressive, Legal 500-recognised team that values your experience and empowers you to deliver meaningful results with flexibility and autonomy.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Manage your own multi-track EL/PL litigated caseload
- Assess liability and disclosure within 21 days of file receipt
- Draft Schedules of Loss, manage disclosure, medicals, and evidence
- Prepare court bundles, witness statements, trial briefs, and liaise with Counsel
- Report to ATE providers and negotiate with Defendant solicitors
- Achieve KPIs for chargeable hours, revenue, inactivity, and data integrity
- Ensure compliance with SRA conduct standards and LPU Litigation Policy
What You Must Bring:
- Proven experience running multi-track litigated personal injury claims (EL/PL essential)
- Solid understanding of Civil Procedure Rules (CPR)
- Confidence in assessing liability and progressing claims independently
- Strong negotiation, drafting, and client care skills
- Excellent diary management and legal documentation skills
- A collaborative mindset with attention to detail and compliance
