Are you a qualified solicitor with 2–3 years’ PQE and looking to take the next step in your litigation career? We’re working with a respected firm in Bury that is looking to add a Litigation Solicitor to its growing team. This role offers exposure to a broad mix of Employment and Civil Litigation matters, along with the chance to develop strong local networks and work closely with a highly experienced Head of Department.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing your own varied caseload with support where needed
  • Handling Employment and Civil Litigation matters from start to finish
  • Drafting pleadings, defences, statements of case, and other Court documentation
  • Preparing disclosure lists, witness statements, and managing County and High Court interlocutory hearings
  • Assisting on larger, complex litigation matters
  • Engaging in networking and client development within the local community

What we’re looking for:

  • A qualified Solicitor
  • Experience in both Employment and Civil Litigation
  • Comfortable managing files with appropriate supervision
  • Confident in court settings and in preparing relevant legal documents
  • Personable and proactive in building local relationships and business opportunities
