Construction Carpenter

Experienced carpenters needed who are skilled in residential framing and trim carpentry. Must submit to a background check and drug screen, be knowledgeable in residential construction (all phases), including setting trusses; and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Will construct, erect, install and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood and wallboard, using carpenter\’s hand tools and power tools and conforming to local building codes. Will participate in most types of restoration carpentry work, along with new construction. Varied and interesting projects. May participate in mold and mildew remediation or disaster recovery (emergency response) work. Will mentor helpers. Along with trades qualifications, must be able to read blueprints, follow oral and written directions, be capable of completing required paperwork. Must possess physical capability to see well (naturally or with correction), coordinate movements of eyes, hands and fingers, use hands, arms and fingers fully, climb and maintain balance on ladders and scaffolding, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl or work at heights as required.

REQUIREMENTS: Current, valid PA Driver\’s License, good driving record and reliable transportation, high school diploma/GED certification, clean background, basic set of hand tools.
