Site Supervisor - Technical Engineer - OUTSIDE IR35

Role: Technical Site Engineer (Supervisor) Day rate: £350 – £400 OUTSIDE IR35 Duration: 6 months Location: Varied – expenses covered Start: ASAP Skills: Ability to interpret and work from complex mechanical and electrical drawings. Experience designing and installing mechanical, low-voltage electrical, IT, and network equipment. Skilled in managing third-party contractors and site-based teams. High attention to detail and strong documentation skills.Knowledge and Experience – Hands-on experience working in industrial environments (e.g. substations). Experience leading or supervising on-site engineers and third parties. Experience managing and coordinating installations with multiple on-site stakeholders. Experience in the energy and renewable energy sectors, ideally in Scotland. Understanding of site health & safety controls and regulatory compliance. Familiarity with operational technologies.Qualifications – Relevant technical qualifications in IT, networking, or mechanical/electrical engineering (e.g., HNC/HND, City & Guilds, vendor certifications, or equivalent experience). IOSH Managing Safely, CSCS, CCNSG, or equivalent certifications. Able to obtain government security clearance. Full UK Driving License
