Join our team as a Business Development Manager in our structural team to join our London Region. Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and profitability across your defined area. You will focus on developing strong relationships with both new and existing customers, helping us to grow our client base and enhance our market presence.
What will you be doing?
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and profitability goals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and suppliers
- Identify and convert new business opportunities, using project tracking and trade leads
- Promote relevant product ranges, including new and complementary items
- Develop targeted sales plans and execute them effectively
- Collaborate closely with internal teams including branch sales, national account managers and head office
- Ensure compliance with pricing policies and credit control procedures
- Stay up to date with market trends
- Maintain accurate weekly sales reports and KPI tracking
What are we looking for?
Skills & Experience:
- Proven sales experience within the construction or building materials sector
- Strong knowledge of insulation, drylining or related product ranges (desirable)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- IT literacy including MS Office
- Full UK driving licence
