Are you highly organised, proactive, and experienced in plant hire coordination? Weβre looking for a skilled Hire Desk Controller to join a fast-paced, dynamic construction support team.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for arranging plant, tools, and machinery for production teams across multiple construction sites. The role requires efficient handling of queries and orders, ensuring cost-effective and timely service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate all aspects of plant and equipment hire across a designated region.
- Liaise closely with Site Managers and Contracts Managers to meet productivity targets.
- Manage weekly fuel (gas oil and diesel) supply for plant and machinery.
- Engage with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and reliable service.
- Organise the delivery of miscellaneous items across sites.
- Oversee all site mixer requirements under hire desk responsibilities.
- Perform general administrative duties to support the plant department.
