From Tuesday 5th to Friday 8th August 2025, I will be hosting successful applicants for a Summer School in my constituency office for 4 days of training and workshops.

This course is aimed at young people wanting to increase their knowledge and understanding of politics: what it’s about, how it affects them, and how to get involved. It will also give young people the chance to gain an insight into public services and how they operate.

Alongside myself, there will be a range of other speakers working in politics within the community through formal (MPs, councillors and Parties) and informal (charities, unions, community organisers) channels. More information on these guests will be provided in due course.

I will be connecting participants with local voluntary and employment opportunities to further support their development, following the conclusion of the Summer School.

Deadline: 5pm, Tuesday 8th July 2025.

Summer School dates: Tuesday 5th to Friday 8th August 2025.

Duration: 4 days, in-person.

Location: at the office and constituency locations.

Where to Apply: The application form can be found on my website https://www.connornaismith.org.uk/2025/05/12/applications-are-open-for-summer-school-2025/

How to Apply: Please first check that you meet the criteria on my website. The application includes 4 250-word motivational questions, so please give yourself time to complete the form. A member of our team will be in touch with the outcome of the applications following the deadline.

Given the short-term nature of this scheme, the programme does not offer financial remuneration.
