Our client, a leading manufacturer committed to operational excellence, is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Coordinator to lead site-wide health, safety, and occupational risk management.
The Role
- You'll support the leadership team in embedding a proactive safety culture, ensuring legal compliance, and continuously improving systems and behaviours.
- Leading risk assessments and hazard mitigation.
- Acting as the site's first aid lead and medical preparedness advisor.
- Managing H&S suppliers and audit calendars.
- Maintaining and evolving H&S policies and compliance.
- Conducting inspections, audits, and incident investigations (RIDDOR).
- Delivering H&S training and inductions.
- Overseeing occupational health follow-ups and committee meetings.
- Promoting safety across employees and contractors.
What We're Looking For
- Proven H&S experience in manufacturing (regulated sectors a plus).
- Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation.
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or working towards).
- Excellent communication and record-keeping skills.
