Our client is a large and well-established MEP Sub-Contractor operating across the UK, Ireland & Europe. They undertake major Mechanical & Electrical Packages on behalf of Tier 1 main contractors involved in technology schemes including Data Centres, Pharmaceutical, Semi-Conductor plants and heavy industrial projects.

Due to continued growth in the region of their pharmaceutical division, our client is now seeking an experienced Electrical QAQC Supervisor to join their team based on a Data Centre build in Hertfordshire.

Responsibilities

  • Quality Assurance & Control Oversight: Monitor and enforce adherence to project-specific quality plans, ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans), and UK electrical regulations to ensure all installations meet client and statutory standards.
  • Inspection & Testing Coordination: Supervise and coordinate inspections, witness testing, and commissioning activities for electrical systems, ensuring full traceability and compliance with project specifications.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate QA/QC documentation including check sheets, NCRs, test records, and punch lists; generate weekly quality reports for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Interface with Project Stakeholders: Liaise with contractors, consultants, and client representatives to address quality issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
  • Compliance & Continuous Improvement: Identify non-conformities and lead root cause analysis; implement corrective/preventative actions to drive continuous improvement in construction quality processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Construction management, or equivalent
  • Must have UK Passport or RTW in the UK
  • 3+ years in a similar role on large scale construction projects, preferably Data Centres
