A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Customer Service Advisor / Sales Assistant to join this national distributor of products for the construction industry. This is a varied role which offers great progression and training and would suit someone with great communication skills who is looking to progress their career in sales and customer service.

THE ROLE

  • Ensuring outstanding levels of customer service at all times both face-to-face and on the phone
  • To maximise growth of sales within the branch
  • Building customer relationships within the branch
  • Answering general enquiries, advising product availability, delivery dates etc
  • Issuing quotations in response to enquiries
  • General sales administration

KNOWLEDGE/ EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous customer service experience preferably within retail or trade environment
  • Exceptional sales and customer relationship building skills at all levels
  • Strong negotiation and facilitation experience with problem solving ability
  • Ability to identify and understand business opportunities and build long term relationships with customers
  • Strong commercial awareness and excellent communication skills
