About Us: We are a leading motorhome and caravan dealership, known for our high standards and personalised service. Weβre now looking for an experienced and motivated Sales Manager to join our team and take responsibility for driving sales, managing the customer journey, and overseeing day-to-day sales operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Customer Engagement: Actively sell motorhomes and caravans on site. Handle inbound sales enquiries via email, phone, and face-to-face. Deliver excellent written communication in emails to customers β clear, professional and persuasive.
- IT & Online Listings: Upload and manage vehicle listings on eBay, AutoTrader, and our website. Maintain accurate and engaging online adverts with images and detailed descriptions. Confidently use everyday software and digital tools (email, browsers, photo apps, scanners, etc.).
- Team Management: Lead and support a small sales/admin team. Monitor performance and ensure high standards of customer service. Motivate staff and maintain a positive team culture.
- Finance & Compliance: Assist customers with finance applications and proposals. Ideally experienced in submitting finance proposals or holding a relevant finance qualification.
- Sales Process Management: Organise and follow up on sales leads. Ensure sold vehicles are scheduled for preparation, servicing, and customer handover. Maintain accurate records of leads, progress, and sales.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in face-to-face selling, ideally in motorhomes, caravans, or automotive sales.
- Experience managing a small team or leading within a sales environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent IT skills β must be comfortable using computers for daily tasks (not just basics).
- Experience with online listing platforms (eBay, AutoTrader) and uploading stock.
- Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of finance products and application processes is a strong advantage.
- A full UK driving licence is essential.
The role includes working on Saturday and Sundays.
