Personal Assistant (Support Worker)

Job Title: Personal Assistant (Support Worker – Accountancy Environment) Location: Remote (with travel to Leeds 2x/month) Contract Length: 6–12 months Rate: £16.00 per hour Working Pattern: 4 days per week (Wednesdays off) About the Role: You’ll provide both administrative and in-person assistance, working closely via Microsoft Teams and Google Hangouts. Key Responsibilities: * Assist with accountancy and insolvency tasks by following verbal instructions * Type from dictation when voice recognition software is insufficient * Take notes during meetings (both formal and informal) * Provide physical assistance during monthly visits to the Leeds office (e.g., wheelchair support, handling bags, opening doors, assisting with meals and toilet breaks) * Offer day-to-day remote support on digital systems Key Requirements: * Strong IT skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace * Excellent written English and fast, accurate typing * Strong listening and note-taking ability * Empathy, patience, and the ability to work 1:1 in close collaboration * Comfortable providing personal assistance, including physical support Additional Information: * Must be eligible to pass BPSS and DBS clearance * Remote role with occasional (twice per month) in-office attendance required in Leeds * Some downtime is expected during the working day
