Microbiologist Location: Durham Pay rate: £18.71 p/h increasing to £20.79 after 6 months Contract Length: 12 Months CY Partners is excited to be working with a prominent Pharmaceutical company in County Durham, who is seeking an experienced Microbiologist to join their dynamic team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to apply their expertise in Microbiology within a compliant and innovative environment. Key Responsibilities: Conduct microbiological testing and analysis in alignment with GMP standards. Ensure all microbiological procedures are followed, documented, and reported accurately. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and quality initiatives. Assist in the maintenance and calibration of microbiology equipment. Perform investigations of microbiological incidents and recommend corrective actions. Support audits and inspections by providing necessary documentation and sample testing. Role Requirements: Previous experience in a microbiology role within industry.  Strong understanding of GMP regulations and compliance. Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision. Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
