We’re looking for dedicated Family Support Workers to join our compassionate and skilled team. You’ll work directly with families in their own homes, offering tailored support to help them overcome challenges, build resilience, and stay connected to their communities.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Providing practical and emotional support to families in their home environment
- Building trusted relationships with parents, carers, and children
- Supporting families to develop routines, parenting strategies, and coping techniques
- Working alongside social care professionals, schools, and community services
- Keeping accurate records, completing reports, and contributing to family plans
- Responding to safeguarding concerns and escalating appropriately
About You:
- Experience working with children, families or vulnerable individuals
- Confident working independently in family home settings
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Calm, non-judgemental and committed to empowering others
- Flexible and adaptable approach to each family’s unique needs
- A valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is highly desirable
