We are recruiting for a Sales & Marketing Manager to join this beautiful, boutique hotel located in the scenic countryside near Bristol. Our client offers a charming, character-filled experience with a strong reputation for personalised service, exceptional weddings, and intimate corporate retreats. As we enter an exciting period of growth, we're seeking someone to lead and elevate our sales and marketing function.

As Sales & Marketing Manager, you'll be responsible for driving revenue across all areas of the business, with a strong focus on weddings, private events, and corporate bookings. You'll develop and implement marketing strategies, manage digital presence, build partnerships, and create a consistent pipeline of high-quality enquiries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver a comprehensive marketing strategy across digital, print, and PR channels
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying and developing new income streams and packages
  • Generate and manage a strong pipeline of wedding and corporate event enquiries
  • Act as the key point of contact for prospective clients from enquiry through to booking
  • Support social media, website content, SEO, and email marketing campaigns
  • Analyse performance metrics and ROI, adjusting strategies accordingly
  • Build relationships with local businesses, event planners, and tourism partners
  • Work collaboratively with the General Manager and wider team to achieve occupancy and event targets
The Candidate
  • Proven experience in a similar sales and marketing role, ideally within hospitality or events
  • Strong digital marketing skills including social media, website management, and content creation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Commercially minded with a proactive, results-driven approach
  • Creative, self-motivated, and able to work independently
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and event management software is a plus
