Supervising Social Worker in the Fostering Support Team. This is a great opportunity to work with an established team and with our community of foster carers who provide foster placements to children and young people. We want to offer an outstanding level of support to our foster carers and our children in care. We provide a number of different services including fostering for children aged 0-18 and Parent and Child Placements.
Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for a manageable caseload, working with a dedicated team to improve the lives of the children in care.
- Managing the recruitment, assessment and approval and continued support of Foster Carers.
- Supporting Foster carers in the delivery of their caring role.
- Supervising Foster carers in accordance with Fostering Regulations.
- Ensuring that children's care and development needs are met within placements by undertaking necessary placement management, planning and intervention.
