For Companies Data Engineering Manager – Permanent – London (Hybrid 1 day a week)
We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Engineering Manager to join a leading organisation.
This is an exciting role where you will have the opportunity to lead a team of talented engineers and help the business deliver critical projects to enable its growth plans.
What you will be doing:
- Line manage and develop a team of data engineers.
- Working with commercial stakeholders to understand business problems and translate them into data solutions with clean architecture and governance practices.
- Work with and lead a 3rd party consultancy to build data platforms and services.
What they are looking for:
- Proven experience with stakeholder management and team leadership.
- Extensive experience of cloud data platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Strong understanding of data products (e.g. Databricks, Fivetran, dbt).
- Ideally have experience of leading a 3rd party, although not essential.
