School Cleaner – Sunderland – Primary School (Temporary) Part-Time: 15–20 hours per week – £13 PAYE per hour CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for a reliable and dedicated Cleaner to join a friendly primary school in Sunderland on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students and staff. Package: £13 PAYE per hour 15–20 hours per week (Monday to Friday) Core hours: 3:00pm – 6:00pm Temporary ongoing role Deep cleaning work expected during the August holiday period Weekly pay Supportive and welcoming team environmentResponsibilities: Cleaning classrooms, toilets, corridors, and shared areas to a high standard Restocking cleaning and hygiene supplies as needed Emptying bins and ensuring waste is disposed of correctly Carrying out deep cleans during school holidays, especially in August Following health and safety and infection control protocols Reporting any maintenance or hygiene concerns to site managementRequirements: Previous cleaning experience (ideally within a school or similar environment) Good understanding of cleaning procedures and hygiene standards Ability to work independently and manage time effectively A proactive and trustworthy approach An enhanced DBS may be required for this role (can be arranged if needed) If you are an experienced cleaner looking for a rewarding part-time role in a supportive school setting, please apply with your full CV or contact Bethany McCluskey at CBW Staffing Solutions
