About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Mobile Maintenance Plumber to join our facilities management team. Based in Gloucester, you will be responsible for carrying out plumbing maintenance, repairs, and minor installations across a range of MOD (Ministry of Defence) sites. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and maintain the highest standards of safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive plumbing tasks across multiple MOD sites.
- Diagnose and repair plumbing faults such as leaks, blockages, valve replacements, and pipework issues.
- Complete minor plumbing installations where required.
- Ensure compliance with current health and safety regulations and site security requirements.
- Accurately complete job reports and documentation using company systems.
- Liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and the internal scheduling team.
- Participate in an on-call rota (if applicable).
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing or equivalent trade qualification.
- Proven experience in a mobile or facilities maintenance plumbing role.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety and working within regulated environments.
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Willingness to undergo security clearance for MOD site access (current clearance advantageous).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
