My client is an M&E contractor who specialise in projects in the retail and commercial sectors. They are based in Castleford and have an excellent reputation and history of producing quality, fast track projects for some leading retail clients such as Morrisons, Asda, Sainsburys, Marks & Spencer.
Following a restructure, they are now recruiting an Electrical Project Manager and a Senior Electrical Project Manager to join their M&E team. The Electrical Project Managers are required to provide extra resource in response to a significant increase in workload. Projects are based towards the commercial retail sector, with the role requiring you to manage a varied portfolio of contracts from initial enquiry through to final accounts.
Essential Requirements to be successful in the role:
- Direct, plan, motivate and monitor the project teams
- Produce scopes of works document from given brief or drawings
- Plan and agree scheme phasing details with the design team
- Continually monitor supplier quotations against rates
- Attend and manage on-site scheme phases
- Attend scheme design team meetings as necessary
- Perform site surveys
- Ensure KPI monitoring is completed weekly
- Ensure Health & Safety is always compliant
- Previous experience as an Electrical Project Manager

- First Aid Certificate
- Asbestos Awareness
- 18th Edition
- ECS Management Card
