What the Role Involves : * Leading the mechanical design process for a variety of engineering projects. * Applying sound engineering principles to develop practical, reliable, and cost-effective solutions. * Producing detailed 3D models and drawings using Inventor, Vault, SolidWorks, and managing timelines through MS Project. * Collaborating across departments to ensure seamless project delivery. * Playing a pivotal role in shaping the design approach and mentoring junior engineers as needed. What You’ll Bring: * Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer—ideally at a senior level. * A strong understanding of materials handling, structural steel, or manufacturing environments. * Fluency in Inventor, Vault, SolidWorks, and MS Project. * A methodical, organised, and consultative approach to work. * A hands-on attitude and a team-first mentality—you’re the kind of person who rolls up their sleeves and gets stuck in.
