Teaching Assistant\\n\\nWe are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school located in Liverpool, dedicated to providing a supportive environment for children with special educational needs. Our school is seeking a caring and dedicated Teaching Assistant to support children. The children you'll be working with may have special needs such as autism, and some may be non-verbal.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a rewarding role where you can make a real difference to the lives of young learners.\\n\\nIn this role, your main responsibility will be working with children with special needs on a one-to-one basis. The needs of the children include autism and learning difficulties. Some children will also be non-verbal.\\n\\nThis primary school in the heart of Liverpool have onsite parking and easy transport links.
The Headteacher is keen to speak to teaching assistants that are experienced in working with young children with special needs. This is a one-year fixed term contract with a few to transition permanent at the end of the year, working Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm during term time.\\n\\nInterviews and trial days will be commencing as soon as possible.\\n\\nSchool/Role Information:\\n\\nSupporting children with in Key Stage 1 and 2\\nMonday to Friday\\n30am to 3.30pm, term time only\\nASAP StartDaily Responsibilities:\\n\\nWorking one-to-one within an intervention room and classroom\\nTo follow and adapt class teachers plans as well as think creatively on how to engage the child\\nTo be able to give feedback to the class teacher, school SENCO and sometimes parents\\nTo be able to think on the spot as the child can become dysregulated very quickly and will not always want to follow the plan for the dayRequired Experience:\\n\\nExperience working with young children\\nMust have SEN experience of over a year working with children with complex needs\\nExperience supporting children with learning difficulties or disabilities\\nTo be able to communicate well with staff as we are constantly monitoring targets \\n\\nHOW TO APPLY:\\n\\nTo apply for this teaching assistant role, please click 'Apply' and upload your most up to date CV.
