Head of Design & Technology (DT) – Dudley Specialism in Engineering or Resistant Materials Salary: MPS/UPS + TLR (depending on experience) Contract: Full-time – Permanent for the right candidate Start Date: September 2025 (or earlier by negotiation) Are you an enthusiastic and experienced DT teacher ready to lead a dynamic department? I am working exclusively with a school who are seeking a Head of Design & Technology to join our vibrant secondary school in Dudley. About the Role: Lead and develop the DT department, with a focus on raising standards and promoting creativity. Deliver high-quality teaching in your specialist area (Engineering or Resistant Materials). Support curriculum development and enrichment activities. Provide strategic leadership and manage departmental resources effectively. We Are Looking For: A passionate DT teacher with QTS and significant classroom experience. Specialism in Engineering or Resistant Materials (essential). Proven track record of excellent outcomes and leadership potential. Strong communication, team-building and organisational skills.
