About the Role
We are seeking a Mobile Technical Services Chemist to join our clients growing Technical Services team. This role involves organising and coordinating hazardous waste collections from client sites across the UK, ensuring full compliance with legislation and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities
- Organise and execute hazardous waste collections from customer sites.
- Pack, label, and segregate hazardous waste in compliance with UK regulations.
- Ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately and in compliance with current legislation.
- Maintain necessary packing materials and a safe, orderly working environment.
- Conduct risk assessments at client sites to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load hazardous waste onto vehicles and transport safely to waste disposal facilities.
- Adhere to Health & Safety policies and EU Drivers Hours Regulations.
- Maintain and develop strong relationships with customers, identifying new sales opportunities.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree (or HNC) in Chemistry or a related field.
- Knowledge of hazardous waste regulations and technical competency in handling hazardous chemicals.
- Experience with packing hazardous waste for transport and disposal.
- ADR licence for hazardous goods transportation (preferred, but training will be provided if needed).
- Forklift Truck and First Aid training (preferred, but training will be provided if needed).
- Strong IT skills – knowledge of Microsoft Office & SAP is an advantage.
- A valid EU driving licence (held for at least two years).
- Physically fit and able to perform hands-on tasks.
