We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join a well-established finance team. This role is key to ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll, compliance with statutory regulations, and effective support for employee payroll queries.

What you’ll do:
- Process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls in line with deadlines and HMRC rules
- Maintain accurate records for starters, leavers, and staff changes
- Calculate statutory payments and apply relevant deductions
- Submit RTI returns and manage auto-enrolment and pensions
- Work closely with HR and Finance to ensure accurate payroll data
- Handle employee payroll queries professionally and promptly
- Produce payroll reports and support audits as needed
- Ensure compliance with payroll legislation and company policies
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in a payroll role (minimum 1-2 years preferred)
- Knowledge of UK payroll legislation and statutory requirements
- Experience using payroll software and Time Attendance systems
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
