Machine Operative

Wisbech Full-Time No home office possible

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading UK manufacturer of display packaging.

Due to their continued growth and development, they are seeking to employ a Machine Operative for their Walsoken, Wisbech site to start as soon as possible.

Working Hours

Monday – Friday, 5:50am – 1:55pm, 7.75 hours per day (potentially changing to 5:50am – 2:30pm, 8 hours per day).

Duties Will Include

Managing, training, and developing crew where appropriate
Efficient product manufacture on machines, following OTIF principles
Manufacturing quality products according to technical drawings
Owning health, safety, and environmental responsibilities on your nominated equipment
Operating in line with the group’s safe systems of work
Conducting quality control, first-off, and in-process checks
Maintaining cleanliness of equipment and work area
Collecting shop floor data
Cross-training other employees
Willingness to be trained in other operational areas
