We’re on the lookout for an experienced Learning & Development Manager to lead the strategic design and delivery of high-impact learning initiatives for a fast-paced, purpose-driven training organisation.
In this pivotal role, you'll take ownership of the L&D strategy — aligning it with business transformation, workforce planning, and inclusive growth. From developing leadership programmes to optimising digital learning tools, you’ll play a key role in shaping a resilient, high-performing workforce.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead the end-to-end development and implementation of the L&D strategy aligned to business goals.
- Partner with senior leaders to identify skills gaps and tailor impactful learning interventions.
- Drive innovation across leadership development, onboarding, apprenticeships, and digital learning.
- Integrate workforce data, evaluation frameworks, and learning technologies to continuously enhance performance and engagement.
- Inspire and manage a small L&D team, fostering collaboration, creativity, and excellence.
- Champion inclusion and diversity through accessible, progressive learning pathways.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience designing and delivering strategic L&D programmes that drive business value.
- A confident people leader with strong coaching, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- CIPD or equivalent L&D qualification; coaching accreditation (ILM, CMI, or similar) highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with LMS platforms and digital learning tools.
- A practical, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to juggle priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Experience working within a training or education-focused organisation is a plus.
