Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and monitor the quality of ferrous scrap materials.
  • Ensure all products meet agreed specifications and internal standards.
  • Conduct regular sampling and testing of materials.
  • Maintain detailed inspection records and reports.
  • Identify and report quality issues or non-conformances.
  • Support continuous improvement and the development of quality procedures.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, environmental, and legal regulations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in quality control or inspection essential.
  • Previous experience working in the scrap metal industry highly advantageous.
  • Understanding of ferrous scrap grades and relevant specifications preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with internal teams.
