Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and related spaces
• Stack clean dishes on racks, ensure clean water and detergent usage, and deliver clean dishes to designated areas as time permits
• Rinse bus buckets, clean and dry pots, pans, utensils, dough boxes, and trash removal; perform general cleaning of the work area
• Receive, unload, and rotate products from vendors if needed
• Assist cooks with prep as needed
• Prepare the dishwashing machine for daily activity and visually inspect for cracks or broken equipment or dishes
• Identify and discard broken/cracked dishes appropriately
• Monitor dishwashing machine operation and report malfunctions promptly
• Clean the dishwasher and surrounding area throughout the day and at close of business

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Commitment to high standards
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Ability to stand and stay active for a 9-hour shift
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures
• Some heavy lifting up to 75 lbs
• Attention to detail
