Previous optical experience is essential for this role as an Optical Advisor or Dispensing Assistant. We will support your ongoing development to expand your knowledge. Key Duties
  • Listening to patients and providing clear, helpful advice, explaining suitable products and offers while understanding NHS procedures and maintaining high standards.
  • Dispensing lenses (single vision, bi-focal, varifocal).
  • Carrying out pre-screening examinations and collaborating with the team in daily clinic operations.
  • Taking measurements and supporting patients with collections, ensuring proper fit, comfort, and accuracy of frames.
  • Maintaining excellent customer service throughout the patient journey and contributing to the success of the retail team.
