Industrial Placement Student

Position Context

Supporting the Process Engineering Team with a one-year industrial placement. The role will be mentored by experienced team members while building knowledge and confidence to manage minor projects and self-directed tasks.

This placement starts summer 2025.

Main Tasks

Support the Production Team and gain industrial experience in activities such as plant modifications, operating procedures, equipment and process commissioning, process optimisation, troubleshooting, and safety studies.

Required Skills

• Expect to achieve a minimum of a 2:1 degree in Chemical Engineering
• Good interpersonal skills
• Must be eligible to work in the UK
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in IT, including process modelling/simulation, and practical skills
