Retail Supervisor - M&S

We\’re currently recruiting a dedicated Retail Supervisor to help ensure the smooth running of operations in a major High Street brand on a part-time basis, contracted to 30 hours per week.

Shift Pattern

• Mon: Evenings
• Tues: Evenings
• Weds: Evenings
• Thurs: Evenings
• Fri: Evenings
• Sat: Evenings
• Sun: Evenings

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly
• Supervising a team, creating a positive environment where team members feel welcomed and supported
• Being a responsible key holder
• Using the till, taking orders, and receiving payments
• Assisting with weekly bookwork and other necessary duties
• Producing weekly rotas following the manager\’s guidelines
• Placing orders for stock to maintain correct stock levels
• Delegating tasks where necessary and ensuring the team is proactive
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations

Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience supervising frontline teams within a similar environment
• Good communication skills with a focus on excellent Customer Service
• Team player with a can-do attitude
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
